Immemorial shadows grow against the firelit welkin
Rich tapestries glow, burning magenta
Recycled nightmares still churn like liquid mountains
As I leave the nuclear cauldron in the distance behind
With necrolatries torn from fractal wounds
I bid adieu to yearnings shifting towards the red
The final curtain calls, till we bleed
Crushed under time's grinding teeth
As abjured by light, much so by darkness we are claimed

Standing still here, at the furthest of shores
Like a statuesque portrayal of fallen prudence
With a blind eye turned on what we once used to be
I drink the flames of this aeonic perfection

Collect all your tears and thus measure my absence
With my name trapped in sobs long overdue
Valedictory orations retreat ‘mongst earthen soliloquies
Through oblivion unfurled in a pale silvery hue
